Winter Sports
Whether you are just starting out, or an accomplished snow sports expert, Hotel Palarine is perfectly situated for your next winter holiday.
The hotel is situated in the family friendly Valnord Ski area - conveniently located for either Arinsal or La Massana ski stations, which are accessible with a short bus trip which runs all winter and is free of charge.
For more adventurous or accomplished skiers, the famous freeride mecca, Arcalis is just 30 minutes away, again by free bus ride.
Grandvalira and it's 210kms of slopes is also only 30 minutes away and the hotel mini bus is available to drop you off and collect you should you wish to explore.
Cycling/Mountain Biking
Come and ride the famous mountain bike trails. Andorra is a mecca for both downhill and cross country / enduro riders alike. Endless opportunities abound for all.
The hotel is perfectly situated - roll downhill from the hotel to the La Massana gondola in the morning - enjoy the trails in the Valnord bike park and at the end of the day, there's a fantastic downhill road ride back to the hotel... No peddling necessary! In the evening, the hotel mini bus is available for lifts into La Massana and Arinsal.
Motorcycling
Andorra and surrounding areas are a motorcyclists dream.. We speak from experience - we ride trials, trials, adventure and road bikes most weeks here!
Road riding
The mountain passes of Andorra and the a-joining roads in France and Spain offer some of the absolute best riding we've ever experienced. It's not uncommon to ride a 50km route consisting of flowing corners with great visibility and without seeing a car!
Off-road riding
Trials riding is accepted on many of the paths and routes around the country and you'll never run out of challenges. For adventure riders there are endless possibilities to explore into Spain, stopping to refresh at fabulous, hidden away Bordas where you'll eat some amazing food.
Hiking
During the spring, summer and autumn, hiking possibilities abound - from easy trails to high mountain routes - Andorra offers a stunning range of hiking possibilities. Of course, a must climb is the highest mountain in Andorra - Comapedrosa.
Shopping
Take advantage of tax free shopping and enjoy a day at the shops - the hotel is just 15 minutes from downtown Andorra La Vella where you'll find big name brands, cosmetics, cigarettes and alcohol at low low prices.
